Remote Sales Manager - Regional Sales Manager - Sensors, Accelerometers, Test Measurement Equipment

No need to relocate, this is a remote position working from your home office covering the East Coast! You can be located anywhere in the East Coast, preferably by a major airport.

Who are we and what are we looking for?

Headquartered in Los Angeles, CA, we are a leading manufacturer of sensors used extensively in aerospace, test measurement and industrial applications worldwide. Private and profitable, we are currently experiencing strong growth and need an East Coast Regional Sales Manager to join our dynamic team! This person will be responsible for managing a team of manufacturer's reps covering the entire Eastern seaboard, maintaining current relationships, developing new business and increasing market share.

What do you need to qualify?

- 8+ years of successful technical sales experience in the electronics manufacturing industry
- Must have experience in test measurement or sensor/accelerometer/signal conditioning electronics
- Must have 5+ years of experience managing and motivating a team of manufacturer's reps
- A documented track record of success in meeting and/or exceeding sales goals and quotas of at least $2M+
- Experience selling to aerospace, automotive and industrial industries
- Demonstrated sales leadership skills
- Excellent communication and computer skills
- Ability to lead, train and motivate a sales team of at least 10-15 manufacturer's reps
- Bachelor's Degree is a must, preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Must be able to work from a remote home office, located in the East Coast and by a major airport.
- Must be willing and able to travel 40%-50% in that territory

What will you be doing?

- Managing a team of manufacturer's representatives for the East Coast Territory by establishing sales forecast, territories, quotas and goals
- Analyze sales data to formulate policy and assist the East Coast regional reps in going to market
- Assist in creating a project tracking system to help drive the sales process
- Assist with new product development
- Coordinate with Marketing to promote products in your territory through trade shows, advertising, press releases and e-mail campaigns
- Handle key customers in regards to quotes, relationships, new products, and forecasts
