Reporting Accountant recruitment
A top International Law Firm is looking for a Reporting Accountant to work closely with all areas in the business.
Your responsibilities will include co-ordinating and consolidating the firm's practice area focused planning cycles: business plans and the annual promotions process.
You will work closely with a number of different individuals within the company so need to be confident and articulate in your approach. The key focus of this position will be the preparation and presentation of various reports on all aspects of the firm.
You will have key input on the reports not just about the clients but also for them as well as reporting and providing detailed financial analysis on the key financial measures. You will be producing monthly and quarterly financial presentations for the partners and management outlining the financial position of the firm.
When working with the Systems Accounts and HR teams you will be preparing all the information on individuals performance for the partners and other fee earners. This information can be sensitive so you must be discrete in your approach and ensure you are highly attentive to detail.
You will work with the a number of teams to ensure all partner movements are reflected on the system and reported correctly along with making sure the impact of specific client billing arrangements are considered, accounted for and reported correctly.
You must liaise with the Strategic Accountants and International offices to ensure consistency of reporting across the network as well as working with other teams to model and plan involvement in new territories/ countries
To be eligible for this position you must have experience undertaking a similar position with a great attitude and communication skills; at least three years' experience in a Professional Services firm (legal or accountancy) and ideally be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent relevant qualification or be qualified by experience.
