Reporting Analyst recruitment

We are currently recruiting for a Reporting Analyst to join the Solvency Risk team. The main purpose of this role will be to ensure that Credit Risk and Collections and Recoveries portfolio reporting support the successful value management of Santander's credit portfolios by:

* Using management data and information to undertake Risk analysis;
* Providing appropriate reports to inform the decision making process or to provide input to resource or business planning.
* Ensuring that strong links are maintained between Risk and other key business areas such as IT.

As a Reporting Analyst your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

* SAS or SQL programming skills along with an in depth knowledge of Excel and Access, Oracle, SAS, Access, Excel, Business Objects, TOAD.
* Ability to translate complex concepts into clear and simple communication tailored to meet the needs of the audience and to gain the desired outcome.
* Ability to communicate details of risk data and reporting effectively with Senior Risk Management on a daily basis.
* Educated to A Level (or equivalent)

As a Reporting Analyst your main responsibilities will involve:

* Producing reporting for Personal Financial Service, Collections and Recoveries and SME utilising the full range of tools and techniques to required timeframes and reporting cycles to agreed SLAs.
* Interpreting risk data accurately and presenting it in a way that accords with Group format and standards.
* Ensuring data production is robust and accurate.
* Managing report and data set developments from multiple data sources where data complexity can be high.
* Maintaining detailed technical documentation including reporting procedures, data dictionaries and glossaries.
* Proactively identifying potential issues with data in the Risk reports in area of expertise. Liaising with the Risk Teams and recommend remedial action.
