Requirements Analyst Job in Englewood, Colorado US
The Requirements Analyst in Englewood, Colorado will elicit, analyze, validate, specify, verify, and manage the needs of the project stakeholders, including customers and end users. This person serves as the conduit between the customer community and the software development team via clearly documented functional, system and process requirements.
The role is a consulting team member on client or internal assignments for product implementation, enhancement or integration projects. This person works on a variety of problems, some of complex scope, where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
Activities include, but are not limited to, the following activities:
- In conjunction with the company's subject matter experts, define and document client specific development requirements ensuring quality of all deliverables
- Evaluate solution alternatives and develop functional design specification(s)
- Develop technical design specifications and unit test plans
- Support the company's system integration testing by analyzing and resolving issues specific to the developed interfaces
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- 3-5 years of experience in software design, technical product support or consulting
- 5 - 7 years of Facets experience including experience on 4.41 or greater
- Working knowledge of Facets front end system, modules, configuration, capabilities, dependencies, and inter-connectivity
- Working knowledge of Facets batch processes, data model and data hierarchy knowledge
- Working knowledge of Facets batch import jobs that come with Facets, MMS, XPF, XC, and UMI
- Working knowledge of Oracle/PL-SQL
- Ability to lead/facilitate business users and technical resources in business requirements gathering, documenting business requirements and obtaining sign off on the business requirements
- Ability to lead/facilitate technical resources in technical specifications/design sessions, documenting technical specifications and obtaining sign off on the technical specification/solution design
Travel to client site (Mid West) is required for client facing work with the project team up to 100% of the time. You must be on site 8am Monday through 3pm Thursday during weeks of travel. Work location will be a combination of Denver, could be some work out of Phoenix, and would be mostly working remotely from home.
