Research Associate – Boutique Executive Search Firm recruitment
Whilst we are a relatively newly established business, the Directors have more than 20 years of experience recruiting within private equity and have worked together for many years. Over the course of the next decade, our aim is to grow our business into a medium sized firm and to gradually expand our reach into other related areas of finance.
We are looking for a researcher to assist us in sourcing candidates for retained assignments of all levels within the investment arena. Your role will involve market mapping, initiating contact with and screening candidates for specific projects, alongside introducing new candidates to the firm on a general basis. This is an opportunity for you to be trained by two highly experienced individuals over a period of 18-24 months with a view to becoming a consultant. Whilst supporting the Directors on all projects, you will follow a structured training program covering all aspects of the search process including research techniques, interviewing, business development, pitching for business and offer negotiation. This is an excellent opportunity to play a part in growing a business, which will offer the right individual early responsibility and unparalleled development.
You will have between 1 and 3 years of experience gained in a related field, most likely as a researcher within another executive search business, a high end recruitment firm or potentially the financial services industry. You will have an excellent academic background with a minimum of a 2.1 from a well reputed university. The successful individual will possess exceptional presentation skills, will be driven and confident operating at a senior level. They will be mature, entrepreneurial and able to work successfully in small and fairly unstructured environment.
