The position of Research Manager is to develop and maintain relationships with candidates and clients where applicable and to provide the right candidates for the open positions.

The successful candidate will have the following objectives and responsibilities:
- Establishing/maintaining good working relationships with candidates and potential candidates
- Working closely with the account managers to fully understand the client requirements
- Managing interaction with on-line client portals (Submitting CV’s/downloading job specs, monitoring the portal etc.)
- Attending all job conference calls/meetings and maintain accurate records
- Researching, resourcing and matching appropriate candidates, arranging interviews, managing and closing the offer stage through to successful completion
- Monitoring, reviewing and responding to applications in an efficient and timely manner
- Telephoning/meeting with candidates to discuss roles in more detail when required
- Managing job boards by sourcing, refreshing, and posting job specs, and creating new job specs as necessary
- Conducting competency based testing of candidates and administering/providing feedback on DISC profiles
- Sourcing candidates through on-line channels - including CV Databases and LinkedIn
- Managing the vetting of candidates to ensure full compliance to meet client requirements
- Managing and closing the offer stage through to successful completion and managing all contract extensions
You will need to be able to demonstrate the following key skills and experience:
- Minimum of 2 years proven track record either as an internal recruiter / researcher within a Financial Services Organisation or a Specialist Financial Services Recruiter
- Experience of the DISC Personality Assessment tool is desirable but not essential
- Solid knowledge of Financial Services with particular emphasis on Technology. An understanding of the regulatory challenges facing Financial Services organisations would be highly desirable.

- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Proven decision making ability and sound judgement
Given the nature of this role you will need to possess strong interpersonal skills and be able to work face-to-face with clients and candidates and therefore excellent presentation and communications skills are key.
