The Role

To write and refine structured finance research in English across Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Key Responsibilities:

Working alongside analysts, the Financial Writer will:

*  Structure and write articles for Credit Insight and Covered Bond Programme Summary
*  Write key press releases and special reports requiring limited analyst feedback;
*  Advise analysts on structuring of research
*  Train analysts on writing skills 

Qualifications

*  A relevant university degree, such as economics, business or finance
*  Candidates from academia with relevant experience will also be considered.
*  Some experience in journalism, reporting and editing within a reputable news or research organisation is ideal; experienced bankers with good writing skills also considered
*  Candidates must demonstrate a good understanding of structured finance.
*  Knowledge of one or more European languages would be an advantage,, but are not a requirement.
*  Well developed IT skills including Email, Excel and PowerPoint
*  Strong writing skills
*  Good written communication skills: ability to structure reports effectively and write clearly
*  Good listening skills
*  Ability to take information relayed in a conversation, presentation or roughly drafted bullet points and turn into a report
*  Ability to learn and apply rating methodologies
*  Work using own initiative and without close supervision
*  Strong attention to detail
*  Highly organised and efficient
*  Ability to work to tight deadlines
*  Ability to build strong professional relationships at all levels, demonstrate flexibility and be a cooperative team player.
