Description
South Shore Mental Health provides rehabilitative interventions and supports in partnership with clients and their families to promote and facilitate recovery. Services include interventions and supports assisting clients in the management of their psychiatric symptoms by maintaining independent living and promoting wellness.
Great Entry Level Opportunity exists as a Residential Rehabilitation Educator in our Mental Health Residential Program in Quincy. Join our professional team to play an essential role in enabling individuals to live as actively and independently as possible!!
Schedule: Sunday, 9am-3pm; Wednesday, Friday, Saturday 3pm-11pm
Required Skills
- High School diploma required
- BA/BS in related field preferred
- Must have a valid Driver’s License
- Access to a personal vehicle required at some sites
- Previous experience working in the mental health field preferred
Required Experience
Responsibilities:
- Teach daily living skills such as cooking, budgeting and social skills
- Implement treatment plans that assist with reaching goals or symptom management
- Administer medications
