BlackRock's Retail iShares Executive Team ensures the integrated delivery of BlackRock's capabilities to our Retail, iShares and Defined Contribution clients globally. We support the Global Head of Retail iShares, and engage directly with the leaders of each client business to drive key initiatives. The team also works closely with internal partners including Investments, Corporate Strategy, Finance, Marketing and regional COO teams to ensure consistent messaging and coordination of critical projects internally. Additionally, the Executive team is responsible for monitoring results, allocating resources and implementing metrics-driven sales execution to manage our business.
We are looking for a Vice President to join the Retail iShares Executive Team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic initiatives impacting the Retail iShares business units, including cross-functional business management and strategy projects
- Develop communications across Retail iShares and create presentation material for senior management to deliver to the Corporate Board, shareholders and other internal and external client audiences
- Work with Finance and Investor Relations to prep for quarterly earnings release, pulling together a quantitative and qualitative summary of the results in each client business
- Actively engage with COO teams and partners across the global offices to ensure consistent messaging and coordination of business critical initiatives.
- Own and drive business administration projects critical to the day to day functioning of the Retail iShares businesses
- Join the management team and mentor the team's analysts and associates
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a directly relevant field (financial services, management consulting or similar) or MBA preferred
- Superior analytical and problem solving abilities
- Strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills
- Ability to synthesize information, set and execute on strategic and tactical objectives
- Effective team player, results-driven and flexible
- Comfortable working across multiple functions, geographies and stakeholders
- High level of self-motivation with ability to own and drive multiple projects at once
- Excited to work in a high-paced, high visibility unit in the firm
