Retail Broker Services SME / Business Analyst / CFD FX FSB
A global financial exchange have an urgent requirement for a Retail Broker Services Subject Matter Expert (SME) / Business Analyst. The Retail Broker Services SME / Business Analyst will be working in a multilateral trading environment and provide the necessary expertise to elicit, analyse and document business requirements for this initiative. The Retail Broker Services SME / Business analyst will be involved in initial high level requirement capture to support the development of business cases and project initiation; and detailed requirements management to support systems development and implementation.
Essential Skills:
- Knowledge of multi-asset trading systems in a Broker environment, preferably with a retail client base in the Contract for Different (CFD), Foreign Exchange (FX) or financial spread betting (FSB) domain
- Automated AML/KYC verification services and online registration systems
- Website tracking and content management system
- Payment service providers for bank transfer and credit cards handling, including fraud checking services integration
- More than five years experience of:
Analysing business problems and designing successful solutions
Relevant experience in a commercial environment, in IT and business implementation and transform projects
High change environments
Working on business critical software projects in financial organisations
- Account and treasury management of firm and client funds, cashflow management, bank account reconciliation and corporate actions processing
- Automated trading systems and strategies
- Mobile and tablet trading platforms
- Charting and market data services, good knowledge of business process analysis/modelling and 'data mining' techniques.
- Good interpersonal skills adequate for dealing and communicating clearly with people from all levels of the organisation, and with external customers and suppliers;
- Excellent oral and written skills adequate for documenting complex business requirements clearly and unambiguously;
- Demonstrable ability to work under pressure to support demanding deadlines;
- Demonstrable ability to work as a self-starter requiring limited supervision;
- Good presentation skills and personal credibility adequate to operate effectively at different levels in the organisation
Desirable:
The following skills and experience are desirable but if not present can be developed while in post:
- Trading, clearing and settlement of spot FX, Equities, Futures and CFD equivalents
- Pre and post trade risk analysis
- White-labelling and functionality to manage relationships with Introducing Brokers
- Technical certifications including ISEB Diploma in Systems Development (Business Analysis) or equivalent, PRINCE2 Foundation or equivalent.
