Job Purpose As a Retail Project Merchandisers (RPM), you will be part of the largest flexible retail merchandising team in the country teams. Although a specific set of work hours and a permanent work schedule is not guaranteed, ASM is the largest provider of retail in the industry and offers a significant amount of opportunities. Job Responsibilities New Items: will work on the achievement of business objectives through placement of new items at all assigned stores. Distribution audits: will work to meet Client and Company objectives by maintaining full distribution on existing SKUs and ensuring signage are in place. Reset Activity and Schematics Completion: must be able to maintain schematic standards by ensuring all authorized items are in distribution and set to shelf standards. Must be able to maintain schematic integrity through consistent communication with Retail Supervisor and other retail personnel. POS Placement: hangs shelf signs, places coupons on product, etc as directed by client. Display Building : assembles cardboard displays for promotion of an item as directed by client. Mystery Shopping Job Requirements Must be able to work independently Good analytical and problem solving skills Effective communication skills (verbal and written) Must be comfortable interacting with ASM supervisors and store level personnel Good organizational and time management skillsShould have basic understanding of retail merchandising and merchandising terminology High School Diploma or equivalent. Other Requirements/Expectations You will be expected to log into the reporting system frequently (several times per week) to review and schedule opportunities in your areas You should accept work that you are qualified and comfortable performing Our expectation is that all work selected will be completed on time, with quality Information will be reported through the ASM system within 24 hours of the completion of the service call Must have a home based computer with internet access and basic computer skills Must have access to fax machine Ability to receive and send email Ability to download and print materials Ability to take and send photographs Must perform the job safely and utilize proper safety techniques and use of equipment when appropriate. Travel Requirements 10%, overnight travel is not required on all projects, only a select few. Physical Demands Never (0% of shift): Lifting and/or Carrying 52 - 74 lbs. (heavy work) 75 - 100 lbs. (heavy work), Operate Mechanical Machinery.
