Responsibilities

Provide growth and development plans for Field Sales Managers and Representatives

Become subject matter expert on client, store operations and/or call center operations.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with SVP/VP of Stores, Regional and District managers. 

Drives credit results by creating and implementing action plans for multiple Retail and/or Catalog Credit portfolios to increase private label credit acquisition, activation, market share and transactions.  These plans include needs assessment, training, development of incentives and contests, and tailored strategies based on key metrics analysis.  Senior Field Sales Manager supervises Field Sales Managers and Representatives to assure credit growth at the store, district, regional levels and/or call centers with a focus on building clients executives relationships and strategies. Collaborates with internal partners to meet the needs of the clients and participates in the proactive development of innovative solutions to client.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with Client Sales and other internal partners

Monitor market goals and key metrics for clients

Review data trends and make data based recommendations.

Ability to deliver effective training and presentations in a corporate and field environment, including clients and Alliance Data executive members

Ability to tailor communications appropriately to different audiences

Support the development of documentation, job aids, professional presentations, contests and training materials. 

Monitoring of programs to ensure results are achieved.

Identify, develop, and monitor Field Sales Critical Few Initiatives (CFI's)

Provide communication link between field and client corporate offices; communicate best practices, competitive intelligence and growth strategy.

Support the creation of customized reporting and communicate regularly to retail partners.   


Qualifications

Knowledge of Retail and/or Call Center environment. 

Knowledge of training, sales and marketing.

Strong business acumen.

Create and provide a vision for team.

Knowledge of how to review data that includes analysis based on statistical methods and other advanced statistical concepts.

Strong analytical skills and familiarity with budgeting and business analysis. 

Superior interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), including the ability to influence others and be a strong negotiator.

Demonstrated leadership abilities .

Proven ability to lead a team, provide direction, and move people at all levels to action.

Ability to interact with and individualize approach with a variety of individuals within all levels of the organization, building and maintaining strong, productive relationships.

Excellent project/time management skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment. 

Proven ability to build and manage strong relationships. 

Ability to facilitate effective group presentations/discussions.

Extensive travel required, including overnight stays. 

Education:  Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or equivalent education/and or related experience.   

Experience:  Seven to ten years experience in Retail, Sales, Marketing, Operations or strong related credit experience.   Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience. 

Desirable:  Detailed understanding of credit related systems, retail, and proprietary credit card practices.  Specific credit-related sales experience.  Extensive Retail experience.
