Retail Sales Consultant - Oakland, CA - Part-time
Retail Sales
Tasks:
- Provide strong understanding and enthusiasm around technology,
especially around Comcast products and services.
- Sell with passion and engage new and existing customers in a high
quality experience which enables them to make informed purchase
decisions.
- Maintain high energy and detailed sales product knowledge including
competitive information.
- Provide superior customer service with all customer interactions.
- Meet or exceed sales quotas in accountability based culture.
- Proactively retain existing customers from canceling service by using
retention techniques.
- Evaluate customer's potential product needs and make appropriate
recommendations.
- Process payments and equipment transactions in order to maximize the
customer experience.
- Work in a fast, high volume environment and maintain a positive I can
do attitude.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work
nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Follow the performance standards set by local and Regional Management.
- Handle a wide variety of transactions such as payments, billing and equipment swaps.
- Proficient and knowledgeable with the order entry and billing system.
- Accurately complete all aspects of opening and closing store procedures in accordance with performance standards.
- Take pride in the visual appearance of the store.

- High School or Equivalent

- Generally requires 0-2 years related experience
- HS Diploma or GED required.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent education through work experience preferred.
- Minimum of 2 or more years of successful retail consumer electronics or wireless sales experience with a proven track record of over delivering quotas and expectations.
- Prior cable, telecommunications and/or wireless experience preferred.
- Bi-Lingual candidates preferred. (Spanish, Chinese or Vietnamese)
- Team, Customer and Results first work ethic.
- Stellar problem-solving and listening skills.
- Flexible and able to work various schedules and locations.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task with ease.
- Interpersonal and communication skills that excite customers to experience our products and services.
- Basic computer skills.
- Stand on feet for long periods of time.
