Revenue Assurance Operations Manager
Major work streams:
- Contract reviews: identification of revenue optimisation within existing contracts and processes;
- Usage calculation and reporting: process design or upgrade to optimise usage reporting;
- Internal consultancy: provide advice and support for cross-departmental internal customers as required, including standardisation and re-deployment of processes
Role Overview
This position is to lead the internal review aspect of the Revenue Assurance function. The remit is broad, and will require interaction across the business, including Sales, Legal, Finance and Product. The majority of the work will be internal and office based however regular contact with customers is also a feature of the role including providing support to the customer facing auditing operation.
This position will suit an experienced senior manager who can work collaboratively and with autonomy to develop and lead the Revenue Assurance internal reviews function, globally.
Main Duties
The main duties and accountabilities include:
- developing, leading and managing the Revenue Assurance internal review function, globally;
- performing customer contract reviews as well as process reviews and overseeing remediation;
- providing consultancy support and advice to the business as required;
- producing management information reporting;
- collaborating and co-ordinating with the Revenue Assurance client facing auditing function.
Experience
- Candidates will have significant experience in auditing, compliance, finance, legal, trading or operations which will ideally have been gained within a Financial Services environment
- Significant experience operating successfully in a large, complex and fast paced global company
Commercial awareness
- Strong understanding of the global financial markets and current issues
- Strong understanding of contract terms, licensing and fee structures
- Commercially astute and pragmatic
Management requirements
- Proven ability to work with autonomy
- Experienced people manager (direct or indirect) committed to coaching and developing team members
- Able to organise self and others including effective scheduling, prioritisation and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in parallel, completing tasks to tight deadlines
- Demonstrable evidence of interpreting and manipulating data clearly and accurately with the ability to extract and clearly articulate key points
- The role would suit highly driven self-starters with a strong desire to challenge and deliver
- Ability to take an independent, investigative approach
