Revenue Recognition Process Controller
Our client based in Banbury is a large IT services and consulting company supplying to a wide range of corporate and public sector clients.
A new role has been created for a Senior Accountant who will provide the finance lead for all US GAAP revenue recognition accounting, ensuring that all processes comply with SOX and are tested accordingly. The successful candidate will be technically astute with an excellent eye for detail as you will be involved in the review of commercial contracts and be able to raise accounting considerations when structuring new deals. As a qualified accountant with strong analysis skills you will be able to review large amounts of data and make recommendations for improving the company's accounting operation to management. Strong communication skills are essential as you educate internal clients on complex accounting principles, including US GAAP software revenue recognition training to non-finance staff.
