RGN Community Nurse

I am now recruiting for Band 5 Community Nurses for work through the Pennine Care Trust. Placements through the trust are based across communities in Manchester, Oldham, Bury and Rochdale. Interviews and start dates are available immediately. To be considered you must have previous community experience, a current NMC registration, have the right to work in the UK and be able to work any day shifts between Monday to Friday.

I am looking for nurses with the following experience with (but not limited to):

• peg feeds
• syringe drivers
• catheters
• compression bandaging
• wound management
• ventilation
• palliative care
• picc line
• hickman lines.

To apply applicants must also have their own vehicle and must be able to travel to all the aforementioned locations. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a community, however nurses with an acute medical background or experience working in a hospice, surgery, medical practice or community based environments will also be considered.

As a community nurse you will be expected to visit patients in the community and their own homes and work with the District team to care for their individual needs. You must be able to supervise and work autonomously.
