RGN Staff Nurse
Band 5 Staff nurses urgently required in Chorley and Preston Hospitals due to high demand from the NHS. Applicants must have a minimum of 6 months experience in a UK hospital, a current NMC registration, the right to work in the UK and be available to work a minimum of 2 shifts per week.
The role
As a staff nurse you will for example, safely administer medicine, take bloods, measure blood pressure, see to acutely ill patients and be able to provide the best care under the NMC regulations. You will be expected to be an excellent communicator, verbally and interpersonally. You must be flexible and self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
Ideally you would have experience working on medical and surgical wards which may include (but not limited to) AMU, Oncology, Endoscopy, Gastro, EAU, MAU, Orthopaedics, Escalations, Clinical Decision Unit, Respiratory etc.
