Job Description

•         Plays key role in development and maintenance of risk management, analytics and  reporting services
•         Oversees client reporting solutions and ensures analytics figures are justified before releasing sign off to Manager •         Sufficient knowledge of financial instruments, including OTC and exchange-traded instruments; key pricing inputs as well as the mechanics of modeling these should be well understood.
•         Understanding of Value-at-Risk methodologies, sensitivity measures, such as greeks, duration, convexity etc. and Stress Testing analysis and techniques
•         Understands the key business drivers; uses knowledge to focus own work.
•         Coordinates with clients and responds to requests/queries in non-standard situations investigating all facts
•         Sound I.T. knowledge, including knowledge of the software development life cycle, and basic database knowledge.
•         Probes and listens carefully, presents information clearly and in appropriate style, makes technical information clear
•         Experience in managing small  groups
•         Provides business leadership to entry level staff
•         Supporting Assistant Vice Presidents in developing implementation of specifications that  enhance  risk product and lead to operational efficiencies

Qualifications

•          Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Economics or equivalent
•          Typically have 3 to 5 years of experience
•          Minimum 2 years related experience
•          Strong understanding of key issues in financial markets and statistics preferred
•          Familiarity with concepts of market risk.
•          Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
•          Strong communication and organization skills
•          Strong project management skills.
•          Strong analytical and problem solving skills
•          Proficient in Bloomberg; knowledge of Reuters FinCad
•          Excellent knowledge of SQL
•          Excellent use of Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
•          Strong knowledge of spreadsheets and building models using macro tools
