RISK AUDIT MANAGER
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced financial professional to join the Group as an Risk and Audit Manager.
The Risk Audit Manager supports the UK management team in securing the 'in-control' position of the company by managing the overall internal control framework, providing the necessary tools and support and delivering assurance on selected areas. In addition the department conducts special assignments on request of the UK management team.
Responsibilities include:
* Overall coordination of the risk and controls reporting cycle for the UK
* Being a key contact person for the external auditors, including scoping and planning with the external auditors
* Close cooperation with the senior management team for the UK regarding the key risk areas for the business
* Execution of special assignments, including fraud investigations
* Participation in high level risk management projects
* Drive and initiate UK-wide projects to build the profile of audit in the UK operating companies
This role will give you excellent exposure to the business leaders in the UK. This role is business critical within the UK, so it is important you have a solid background in the business risk audit area, can lead from the front, have strong interpersonal skills and awareness of how to make impact.
The role is pivotal to the growth of the business and in the future will lead to a key role in operations or finance. Your career progression and personal development are high on the agenda. Travel outside London will be approximately 35%.
Qualifications / Experience:
Big 4 background with Chartered Accountancy and several years post-qualification experience
Comfortable working with operational people and across functional areas outside of finance
