A new opportunity presently exists for an experienced Risk Assurance Manager on a 12 month contract to join our dynamic team. This is a newly created role that will enable you to make a big impact within Optus Business.
You will be reporting to the VP Finance of Optus Business and your primary responsibility in this role will be developing, implementing and managing the risk strategy framework within Optus Business. You will be involved in driving implementation, governance and compliance for relevant policies and procedures.
This role will suit someone who enjoys leading change, influencing stakeholders and driving robust risk assessments. In addition you will be proactively reviewing new processes, products and operating models to identify risk and control issues up front.
We are looking for a highly motived, energetic and enthusiastic individual with a ‘can-do’ attitude to drive the successful implementation of the risk framework. You will have extensive experience in risk management, strong commercial acumen, superior interpersonal communication skills and have the ability to provide guidance and support to the business. The ability to influence and negotiate with Senior stakeholders as well having strong cost and time management skills will be integral to your success in this role. Tertiary qualifications and/or professional qualifications in Risk, Finance, or Audit will be advantageous.
