Risk Assurance Senior Associate
A Fantastic opportunity to work within Risk Assurance where you will consider wider business risks, engage with a broad section of management, hone your business development skills and development new skills in regards to IT and Data. Based in Glasgow or Edinburgh you will play an important role in helping clients to identify measure and manage their risks more effectively.
Joining the controls group as a Business Process and Control specialist you will be responsible for scoping and managing the delivery of risk assurance assignments, day to day management of team members including coaching and developing their skills and capabilities, undertaking review of team members work and supporting the wider Risk Assurance Team.
You will be involved in the completion of IT general controls, cp-sourcing with internal audit functions, providing assurance over non- financial sate systems (such as regulatory statements and CRC reporting) and advising clients in regards to treasury risk.
The ideal candidate will hold a computer science or accounting degree, have attained or be working towards the CA / ACCA or CISA qualification, have experience of auditing IT systems, experience in evaluating technology that supports financial and operational application systems and experience in supervising and coaching junior colleagues.
