The analyst will be responsible for providing high quality reporting services to external and internal clients, ensuring output is accurate and delivered within pre-defined deadlines. The team embodies a truly collaborative approach to exceeding our clients expectations and each analyst must exemplify this. Ensure accuracy and quality of client specific information held in the database for your clients. Accountable for the timeliness, accuracy and quality of reports based on client specific deadlines. This is for accounts falling in the basic to intermediate complexity range. You will be responsible for the production requirements of a number of clients falling within this complexity range which will involve professional email communication, conference calls and regular telephone updates. Ensure delivery is in an accurate and timely manner. Active engagement in production monitoring and quality assurance processes. Assist in implementation of new clients, from collating initial requirements, data requirements and discussing reporting options to system set up, development of efficient report production processes, implementation of audit controls and finally report delivery, initial analysis and interpretation to clients. Ensuring an ongoing high level of client service, meeting deadlines, accuracy, prompt turnaround of queries and pro-active client dealings. Work closely with strategic partners, vendors and other parties to resolve client and reporting issues. Change management activities for existing clients (e.g. new benchmarks/change to investment strategy etc). Effective communication on all work undertaken within the team, escalating problems or providing supporting information to others as required. Discuss and action client requests through relationship managers and directly where required. Track and monitor the resolution of client queries. Keeping management fully updated regarding any service delays or client issues as and when they occur. Ensuring MIS, client summaries and procedures are kept up to date. Proactively identify efficiencies and improvements to existing processes and procedures Promote a positive and professional work environment. Self directed to manage workload and results based goals, proactively identify and pursue one s own training needs. Participate on project teams to support team initiatives, including User Acceptance Testing. Assist in training documentation and participate in various training initiatives at a team level.

Qualifications

Mathematical/Statistical related experience, degree, or equivalent, is preferred as reports involve technical calculations and use of various performance, attribution and analytical data, which the person must have an aptitude to understand and explain to internal and external clients. A good understanding of Investment Performance Measurement. Experience in the preparation of analytical or financial reports or numerical data. Excellent numerical skills, with accurate manipulation, analysis and checking of figure work. Experience of using Microsoft Office products, in particular manipulating Excel spreadsheets. Utilising advanced functions would be desirable. Experience working with large and complex databases and an ability to understand how they function/interact. Able to work effectively in a team to achieve a common goal. Quick to develop new skills and a pro-active approach to learning and training. Aptitude for learning internal systems quickly. Finance/Stats/Maths related experience or degree is preferred IAQ and/or IMC qualifications are advantageous
