Risk Management Team Leader recruitment
Due to an internal transfer, an opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader to join the Risk Management team. The team specialises in ensuring risks are mitigated through the provision of transactional risk management activities. As part of Client and Adviser Services, the team deals with advisers and clients regarding risk and fraud related matters. It also includes regular contact with internal stakeholders to ensure highest standards are applied to assist in the overall satisfaction of advisers and clients.
As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for supervising the team, ensuring workflow queues are managed and work is actioned within agreed cut-off times. You would also be responsible for handling escalations. There is also an emphasis on staff coaching and development to enhance knowledge and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure delivery of excellent solution focused service with end to end accountability
- Provide ongoing coaching and direction to team members
- Checking accuracy and quality of output by the team
- Conduct performance management activities
- Escalations point and advice for risk items and fraud.
- Manage the workload of the team - specifically the outbound call queue.
- Ensure all processes and procedures are undertaken in accordance with established company, AML, ASX ASIC standards
Ideally you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications
- RG146 compliance
- Team leader experience
- Banking / Financial Services industry experience
- A high level of attention to detail and the tenacity to follow through.
- Flexibility and Can-Do attitude
