Risk Manager – Financial Mgmt & Reporting recruitment

The RISQ division in the US supports all the activities in the Americas Region (US, Canada and Latin America), which is almost exclusively SGCIB-oriented.

The Risk Reporting team is comprised of professionals based in New York dedicated to providing reporting within the RISQ/AME division. They provide the tools and technical solutions for which members within RISQ cannavigate through all the internal information and receive end results in a concise and comprehendible format

Main Accountabilities

Primary tasks include but are not limited to:

* Financial Reporting:

o Creation of the annual budget for the RISQ division by department

o Oversight of monthly reporting of PL, Headcount, allocations of costs to the Business Lines

* Operational Risk Management: Oversight of all operational risk reporting for the RISQ division, including:

o Permanent Supervision

o KRI Reporting

o Audit Recommendation Follow Up

o Operational Loss Reporting

o Annual RSCA exercise

o Sub-CCC Reports

o CCCI Report with Paris

* Work with the RISQ/CAO team in Paris to ensure global alignment of processes, including Financial Reporting and Operational Risk Management

* Shared National Credit Reporting:

o Main contact with the FRB on Shared National Credit Reporting in charge of the quarterly reporting to the Federal Reserve, including making any manual adjustments to the data, researching quality and validity errors. Liaise with Operations on any data questions

o Liaise with RISQ and IT teams to define the requirements for the feed and test changes.

o Coordinate the annual process, including obtaining files from the Relationship Managers for credits that are to be reviewed, liaise with examiners, liaise with Compliance to obtain space, etc for the onsite exam, report on te results when received, and oversee the mapping process of the SNC ID’s to the LoanIQ facility number and the subsequent upload of ratings.

* Dodd Frank Regulatory Reporting: Act as Project Coordinator for RISQ, including attending Steering Committees, tracking progress towards objectives, and ensuring the appropriate resources are involved.

* Policies and Procedures: Revise documents as needed.

* Manage a staff og 1 who primarily performs the regular budget reporting (including headcount reporting, analysis of expenses, monthly and quarterly PL overview, and review of car service invoices against policy), Operational Risk Management tasks and quarterly Shared National Credit Reporting.

* Assist the Head of RISQ/CAO in te following, as needed:

o Monthly RISQ Division Meeting with CEO: Prepare presentations and document main points for meetings.

o Facilities Planning: Coordinate space needs with Facilities and report quarterly on RISQ’s anticipated needs.

o Represent RISQ/CAO at Meetings?

Prior Work experience

Required:

* 5+ years of risk experience in an Accounting or Financial firm

Education

Required:

* Bachelor of Science in a top tier university

* Strong academic background?

Languages

Required:

* MS preferred
