As (Senior) Risk Manager in New Business Control WM RC, you play a key role in enabling new products/businesses, or changes of products/ businesses.
In this capacity, you are responsible for the following tasks:
Ensure end-to-end assessment of initiatives ,by leading ad hoc teams of functional specialist from various areas of the bank (i.e. Legal, Compliance, Tax, Accounting, various Risk functions, Operations)
Analyse feasibility as well as evaluate potential impacts on UBS, its clients and its standing in the market place
Identify measure and furnish guidance to mitigate risks on initiatives to the benefit of clients and the bank.
Provide direction to enhance service quality to the benefit of the clients and to achieve robust internal procedures
Solid knowledge of financial services industry and wealth management in particular
Minimum 5-10 years relevant work experience (origination, product management and/or control function)
Excellent communication, relationship-building and persuasion skills
Proactive attitude ('can-do' mentality)
Ability to work independently as well as in a team
Broad perspective while maintaining attention to detail
English and German fluent in spoken and written
