Role Summary/Purpose

As part of the Risk Reporting Planning - ownership of all internal and external Risk reporting requirements, support of cross-functional projects on process improvements or system implementations. Liaise with HQ and other GE counterparties to ensure policy alignment and co-ordinate with Finance/Controllership to ensure a simplified and joined up approach to Reporting.

• Challenge the use of and simplify the Exposure Reporting Systems reporting process through a deep understanding of the Exposure Reporting System

• Manage and overview Risk reports for internal and external purposes that are required by multiple stakeholders on a regular or ad-hoc basis. Crucially to push back where necessary to reduce duplication and to eliminate redundant reports.

• Perform various data validations and reconciliations to resolve issues and ensure data accuracy.

• Work closely with different functions such as Finance and HQ to ensure accurate, consistent and timely reporting.

• Ensure strong cross-functional collaboration with Portfolio, Restructuring and Finance teams to perform and support portfolio planning and reporting to SLT.

• Co-ordinate and support cross-functional projects within business or with EMEA HQ or US team in regards of process improvements and system implementations.

• Drive projects to improve reporting capabilities, simplify and streamline reporting processes to increase efficiency and productivity. Challenge the suite of metrics used and propose and implement enhancements.

• Have solid understanding of system infrastructure, processes and inter-linkages to identify and resolve issues and propose enhancements/simplifications.

• In addition to other controls, take ownership of Level One Controls, integrating them into other reporting responsibilities to improve efficiency, reduce duplication and ensure timeliness and accuracy of data.

• Apply knowledge and experience of leveraged lending risk analysis to the analytics role and develop others in the team to understand and interpret essential risk data.

Qualifications/Requirements

• BS/BA degree of equivalent work related experience

• Strong financial industry experience, ideally within corporate finance or asset based management

• Strong technical skills especially in accounting, financial analysis and modelling

• Analytical / Problem Solving skills
