Risk Strategic Controls – AVP – Tier 1 Investment Bank recruitment
Qualified Accountant needed for Tier 1 Invesment Bank to work in the Strategic Controls Team.
The function of the team is to develop a principle based control framework across Market Risk, Credit Risk and Product Control. The team will monitor the framework moving forward ensuring it complies with internal and external audits and regulations.
They are curerntly looking for a qualfied accountant with Investment Banking experience to work within this team. There is an element of travel to New York and APAC in this role as the team has a global remit.
Basic Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree
Professional qualification (e.g. ACA/CIMA/ACCA)
Banking or financial services experience
Strong understanding of key risks controls associated with MR and CR in an investment bank.
Internal Audit/External Audit/Operational Risk experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified accountant
Graduate degree
Previous investment / capital markets related banking role
