RN – MEDICAL / SURGICAL (DAYS

The 16-bed Adult Med/Surg Unit / Tower 7 at St. Joseph's Hospital provides family-centered care for a diverse patient population from age 18+ (all private rooms). We practice primary care utilizing a team of registered nurses, patient care technicians and certified nursing assistants. We maintain a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio. Many of the rooms are private and several have been renovated. Join us now as we are seeking Registered Nurses (RN) to coordinate, supervise and implement patient care based on competence, professional expertise, knowledge and evidence-based practice. The Registered Nurse is expected to practice autonomously, consistent with professional standards, Nurse Practice Act and hospital job description.
 
This position is critical to the success of St. Joseph's Hospital Medical Center and requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Catholic Healthcare West.

REQUIREMENTS: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing AZ RN license or RN License from a Compact State. Please refer to www.ncsbn.org for complete listing of Compact States. BCLS certification and resuscitation level certificate as appropriate to assigned department.
