Ruby on Rails Software Engineer
As a cutting edge and expanding e-commerce firm, we're seeking a full-time ruby on rails e-commerce developer to help cover mobile, aws, and deployment. Ruby on Rails will be implemented along with full text searches and database development. This position is part of a small dynamic team where you will be very hands on from the outset and it will fast track you into a more senior position as the company grows.
Responsibilities include working within a small but very dynamic and skilled technology team that’s ambitions are large, very technically versed in e-commerce and will offer excellent opportunity for you to develop your software engineering skills. Ruby skills should be focused around deployment, template languages and smooth web application work.
Location: Los Angeles, USA
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years ruby on rails web application software engineering skills.
- Will have good experience with relational databases in SQL and/or MYSQL.
- Ideally will be fully versed with text searches i.e. Solr, ElasticSearch.
- The ability to communicate e-commerce technology with the CTO.
- Implement mobile and desktop layouts conducive to the business needs.
- Integrating web services with the likes of Javascript, CSS or HTML.
