We have an exciting opportunity for a Safety Coordinator to join our project team working on a significant Infrastructure project in WA on a FIFO 3/1 roster to Kununurra. This is a road works project which will see the upgrade of rural roads, construction of irrigation channels and siphon structures.
The Role
You will play a key part in the management of subcontractors to deliver work in budget and on time, maintain strong relationships with internal and external key stakeholders and adhere to safe work methods and risk constraints throughout all project stages.
Key responsibilities include:
· Maintaining advanced levels of HSE management and site safety cultures
· Upholding timely and accurate HSE service requirements
· Demonstrating on a daily basis, behaviours that uphold LCPL Values
· Maintaining healthy internal and external relationships with all clients and stakeholders
· Encouraging collaboration and enhancing group dynamics amongst the teams
· Communicating and coaching safety standards across various project, management, contractor and employee units whilst supporting the HSE Manager
· Striving for productivity and operational excellence whilst maintaining safety standards
The successful candidate will have demonstrative experience in a similar role within the construction industry. Prerequisites for this role include holding relevant tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health Safety or related disciplines.
