- Build and maintain an active pipeline of qualified leads through cold calling, attending industry trade shows, providing product demonstrations, working leads from direct mail campaigns and other marketing campaigns.
- Cultivate relationships and enable solution selling of Predictive Analytics services in conjunction with PBBI partners. This will include participating in joint selling opportunities with these partners and enabling their training and growth.
- Develop and maintain detailed and updated opportunity matrixes for each prospect account to insure that the appropriate sales support resources can be available and to assist in the preparation of accurate and timely sales forecasts.
- Aggressively work the pipeline to consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue quotas.
- Establish the best possible long-term relationship with each prospect and customer so as to maximize future revenue opportunities. Included are meaningful business relationships with "C" level executives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of sales experience selling predictive analytics solutions and services, preferably to the Retail, Restaurant, and/or Financial Services industries.
- Demonstrated success in managing sales cycle of 3-9 months or longer and average deal size in excess of $100,000 including significant services and license components.
- Extensive experience selling to "C" level buyers (CEO, CIO, CFO, Department Directors, etc.)
- Up to 60% overnight travel required.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills
- Ability to craft business solutions to complex business problems
- Experience utilizing a metrics-driven sales process focusing on customer value and ROI
- Proven ability to establish strong relationships with business and technical buyers
- History of personal experience in predictive analytics consulting projects as a practioner.
- Experience in business development with partner companies.
