Sales Assistant/Sales Associate

Act as assistant to Client Advisor (CA), assist sales team in all aspects of daily business (other than investment recommendations or solicitation of clients). 

Responsibilities include:

• entering client trade orders

• opening accounts

• processing client requests for wires, checks, etc.

• creating client presentations

• assisting with organization of client events

• administrative duties such as answering phones, travel coordination, expense reports

• backing up for other SA when he/she is out or away from desk

Skills Required:

•college degree preferred

•3-5 years related industry experience

•2-3 years as a sales or registered sales assistant

•series 7 and 63/66 registered

•has strong working knowledge of products presented by CA

•ability to communicate with clients regarding products presented by CA and firm's administrative procedures

•ability to support the CA’s sales activities with minimal oversight
