Sales Associate (Energy/Carbon) recruitment

RepuTex is seeking an entrepreneurial and technically-minded salesperson to oversee the expansion of its products in the Australian market.

The Sales Associate will have the following responsibilities:

• Drive outbound product sales to Power, Energy firms, along with capital markets, esp. commodities/trading and investment professionals.
• Build relationships with end users by understanding and fulfilling their business needs
• Develop new opportunities within existing client base
• Develop and present proposals to clients
• Identify and develop business growth opportunities
• Communicate with relevant stakeholders to understand drivers of inputs and impacts of research

The successful candidate is likely to have the following background and skill set:

• Experience in client facing data sales roles
• Strong verbal and written communication with polished presentation skills
• Strong telephone sales and presentation skills with clients/prospects at all levels
• Background (3+ years) in the Commodities and Energy sector is preferred
• Knowledge of carbon market concepts and policy, or ability to rapidly acquire this
