Due to expansion in the APAC region my client is seeking an Associate to manage existing and forge new relationships with buy and sell side participants in the financial markets.
Duties Responsibilities
- Assist in driving the sales of risk solutions and financial products to buy sell side participants in the APAC region, specifically Australia
- This will be achieved through existing clients and new ones
- Engagement across multi asset classes but mainly with a focus on Equity Fixed Income based products
- Develop an exceptional understanding of the financial products and functionality and their bespoke application to specific clients.
- Exibiting a robust understanding of financial concepts and principles such as financial statement analysis, cash flow, business valuation, company reporting and stock selection
- Address product related questions from buy and sell clients by accessing solutions from the wider group
Prerequisites/Qualifications
- At least two years experience in a buy or sell side firm ideally an Investment bank or financial data vendor is preferred
- Financial markets exposure across multi asset classes (FX, Equities, Fixed Income, Interest Rates)
- Entrepreneurial mindset; exhibits drive, initiative energy
- Analytical capabilities, including valuation analysis and financial modeling
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- The ability to work independently and part of a cohesive team
Compensation package will obviously depend on how the candidate presents at interview but will be around $70,000 to $90,000 plus Superannuation a discretionary annual bonus.
