Wilshire Associates has an opening for a Sales Associate within its Consulting business unit. This position is located in Wilshire’s office in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Job Description:
Wilshire Associates is a leading investment technology, investment consulting and investment management firm. This position will require familiarity with all of the Consulting business unit’s products and services to capitalize on all opportunities as they are identified, but initial responsibilities will focus on developing opportunities related to investment technology solutions including the Wilshire CompassSM, and Risk Management Consulting services. The Wilshire Compass is a PC-based investment technology tool, made available to large institutional investors and investment consulting firms. Supporting Risk Management Consulting sales initiatives will require a broad understanding and knowledge of Wilshire’s multi-asset class risk analytics systems and framework.
Candidates must project confidence and credibility with prospective clients. Ability to generate, develop and follow through on sales leads is required. Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation or progress toward the CFA is helpful. This position will require extensive travel. Required Experience and Skills:
- 3-5 years professional experience in either the investment management or investment software industries;
- Familiarity with the institutional investment community;
- Familiarity with all aspects of quantitative structured investment processes;
- Excellent communication and presentation skills;
- Familiarity with contact and customer relationship management software a plus;
- Strong computer skills
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelors degree required
- MBA or CFA is a plus.
