We are currently recruiting for a Sales Director to be based in London and focus on selling SP Capital IQ solutions in to Eastern European markets.
The role includes amongst other, the following elements:
- Achieve assigned individual sales goal and manage the base of business.
- Establish long term relationships and maintain Account profiles that reflect business in place and current and future direction on strategy of MHF and client to drive revenue.
- Work with Product Management and analytical services to identify customer profiles to develop calling and contact lists for business development
- Understand and effectively communicate strategic and tactical direction
- Make decisions and influence senior management regarding important issues
- Lead execution of key projects.
- Actively assessing the marketplace to identify new business development opportunities.
- Developing strong relationships with senior members of current and potential client organizations, understanding clients' strategies and objectives, and pitching the value of our solutions.
- Developing a strong understanding of, and staying current on, the SP products and functionality and their application to different clients and industries.
- Staying current on competitor offerings to identify the strengths and vulnerabilities of SP offerings in comparison.
- Analyzing client usage trends to identify growth and risk areas.
- Turning client feedback into actionable strategies to drive new business and address competitive risks.
- Influencing client decisions and advocating for client needs to negotiate win-win solutions.
- Mentoring junior members of the team by providing instruction and positive modeling; providing timely, specific and frequent feedback and helpful coaching.
- Collaborating effectively across teams
Skills
Required:
- Significant experience working in a comparable business development position
- Bachelors degree required
- A strong understanding of financial concepts and principles as relates to clients' needs
- Knowledge of one or more Eastern European languages and/or Turkish
- Strong client facing skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation.
- Ability to work under pressure
- Organization skills - Ability to multi task, self-start, manage conflicting priorities
- Ability and willingness to travel
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Collaborating effectively across teams as well as independently
- Desire and flexibility to learn and grow in an ever-changing environment
