Sales Engineer required urgently for key position in one of the global leaders in latency management systems. Working with some of the leading global trading organisations including banks, exchanges, financial markets providers and market makers, you will have a strong background as a sales engineer and a track record in selling and supporting in the financial markets sector. You will have a proven track record in relevant engineering roles and some experience in a sales based role.
The Sales Engineer (Pre-Sales, Low Latency, Financial Services, IP Networking, CCIE/CCNP, Feed Handlers, Matching Engines, FIX, Wombat, Tibco, Perl, Python, Linux) will have the following demonstrable skills:
* Excellent working knowledge of IP Networking with CCIE/CCNP accreditation helpful.
* Strong skills in trading plant infrastructure / applications (feed handlers, matching engines etc) and protocols (FIX, Wombat Tibco etc).
* Good scripting in Perl and/or Python with prior work in a Linux environment helpful.
* Strong sales, communication and presentation skills.
The sales engineer will support the selling of the latency management system into the financial markets sector, providing technical leadership beginning in the sales process and into the client management state. You will be expected to build trust and key relationships with clients and work with numerous technology infrastructure groups including network and application teams.
Further responsibilities for the Sales Engineer (Pre-Sales, Low Latency, Financial Services, IP Networking, CCIE/CCNP, Feed Handlers, Matching Engines, FIX, Wombat, Tibco, Perl, Python, Linux) will include pre and post sale technical engineering and implementation support, identification of further opportunities within client environments, learn the positioning of the products and develop strong knowledge of industry trends. You will help prepare and be involved in industry trade shows and conferences and work as an integral part of the sales unit.
