JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position represents an exciting career opportunity with our rapidly growing team to become a Sales Engineer for one of the world’s premier Security Management Company. You will work closely with field sales and product team to provide and coordinate technical support during the entire sales cycle, from qualification through to closure.
Responsibilities:
- Presents and demonstrates products and solutions to current and prospective customers, while participating in sales calls as technical resource.
- Provides Technical Sales leadership while performing Proofs of Concepts, Product presentations demonstrations, ROI calculations, Architecture Integration design
- Works closely with sales team as a technical consultant of Quantum Secure technology during sales calls and sales visits.
- Answers technical questions and conducts demonstrations of product expressions and new features to prospects and to various groups within new and existing customer accounts
- Work closely with Development, Product, Marketing, Services, and Customer Support by providing feedback on potential product enhancements and competitive direction.
- Write technical responses and content for proposals in response to RFPs RFQs.
This is a highly visible position, and involves approximately 40% travel.
PRIOR WORK EXPERINCE:
Must have 5+ years
SKILLS NEEDED:
- University degree with Bachelor or Masters Degree preferably in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.
- An understanding of security concepts and the development of security roles within organizations that meet functional, technical and regulatory requirements
- Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies to physical security domain.
- Prior experience/Eagerness to learn vertical domains (Airports, Government, Healthcare, Financials, Universities, etc) product solutions is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to customers including business and technical representatives.
- Demonstrated expertise in handling any technical and functional problem that may typically arise and offer creative solutions to unique cases
- Hands on with Databases (SQl, Oracle) and familiar with .NET, ASP Windows Server programming concepts
- Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and 3rd party products
- Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
- Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
DESIRED SKILLS:
Prior work experience with physical/IT security industry, physical access control, identity management, enterprise software and enterprise integration projects preferred.
