- Experience of Selling Professional Services in to the Public Sector (App Dev is ideal)
- 7+ Years track record in New Business
- Worked the Tender Process
- C-Level gravitas
- A wolf in sheep's clothing
- Graduate (Hon's Degree)
- Ideally from a small company background
ROLE INFORMATION Sales Executive, Microsoft Services for the Public Sector
- Selling: Consultancy Services, Systems integration and Application development all around Microsoft technologies
- Selling to Central Government, Quangos/Government Agencies
- 90% new business, 10% account management.
- Targeting IT management level.
- They are listed on Government frameworks and receive many ITT's as well as leads from Microsoft directly.
- Average order values are circa £100k revenue
- Target £500K year 1, Year 2/3 will increase to £1.5M.
- Sales cycles range from 3months to a year.
- Reference clients: Home Office, ACAS, Defra, Sport England, Veterinary laboratory agency
