New Business Development Manager / Sales Executive

Exciting high profile global provider of Financial Systems is looking to expand their Sales team across APAC region, based from Singapore. You will join a team where you are required to qualify and close new Sales opportunities across the region. A dedicated and sales hungry business developer is required for this role where you will build relationships with key industry decision makers across the Investment Management, Pensions, Retail and Private Banking space.
You will work closely with the client throughout the implementation and also act as an account manager post live stage, exploring further the needs of the client and identifying further sales opportunities. Ideally you will have a strong background selling technology solutions into the Financial Services sector.
In this role you will be required to:
- Work closely with Senior Managers to define and execute sales strategies
- Engage and work closely with other members of the sales team (pre-sales product experts), which at times may require you to bring in members from technical and implementation teams
- Maintain and build consistent sales pipeline, and deliver sales results
- Bid management and responding to RFP's
- Manage multiple sales cycles simultaneously
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts and report/provide status updates to the business
- Build and manage relationships with key decision makers within the Funds/Custody/Superannuation industries
- Account management of the client throughout implementation
Skills required:
- Proven track record of selling strategically
- Knowledge of the Financial Markets and Financial Industry in general
- Sound understanding of the Investment Management industry (ie Funds/Asset Management, Asset Servicing, Custody, Pensions, Private Banking etc)
- Proven ability to manage highly complex, sometimes political and lengthy sales processes
- Experience in new account wins, and also account management where you are able to sell through existing channels
- Previous experience negotiating handling deals of significant dollar value
- Strong presentation skills
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- At least 5 years experience in a Sales/Business Development/Account relationship role
- Ability to travel
