MedVantx, Headquartered out of San Diego, California, is a fast-paced, technology company that focuses on the healthcare market.  We provide an integrated solution to provide an automated service that includes generic pharmaceuticals to patients in the physician’s office.  Our solution is truly unique where not only do we provide technology integrated into the physician office, but also provide generic medications as “samples”.  By automating the traditional sample closet and replacing it with a MedVantx Adherence solution we provide a solution that is of significant value to patient, physician, Integrated Delivery Network (IDN)/Integrated Health System (IHS) and health plan. 

 

Main functions:

This sales position will be responsible for selling directly to the physician offices the MedVantx Medication Adherence program.  This program includes providing technology, generic medication, and information to offices to provide additional value to the practice.  This position will be responsible for achieving a monthly sales quota, including selling our solution to new accounts.

Duties:

·         Sign new contracts for the MedStart Adherence Program by selling the value of the program to physicians, office administration, nurses and all key decision makers at the practice.

·         Follow the sales process to ensure appropriate forecasting and sales projections.

·         Must be able to work with key strategic partner relationships including large insurance companies, channel partners, large medical groups, and internal departments.

·         Sell the MedStart Adherence Program to targeted physicians practices that are owned or managed by large medical groups. 

·         Drive the sales process by coordinating resources throughout the sales cycle.

·         Consistently over-achieve quota on a monthly and quarterly basis.

·         Have the ability to build outstanding relationships through follow up and constant communication both with customers, and within the MedVantx organization.

·         Negotiate new contracts including terms conditions, balancing both the customer’s and the business needs.

·         Ability to multi-task, managing multiple projects at one time

·         Work collaboratively with sales channel partners, including regular updates, communication, and aligning objectives.

·         Have exceptional customer follow up and communication skills.

·         Proven experience in working at the “C-level” and drive change within accounts.

·         Have the ability to understand a complex regulatory environment including, pharmaceutical regulations, healthcare reform, insurance reimbursement, and on-going changes to healthcare.

·         Work collectively with marketing to develop sales tools to support messaging.

·         Develop regular communication with the Operations team to discuss installation process, interface requirements, and other technical details for installation. 

 

Employment Requirements:

·         Total of 3+ years if healthcare sales

·         Prefer sales experience in physician office environment

·         Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills

·         BA/BS degree

·         Experience with SalesForce.com is necessary

·         Knowledge of the ACO PCMH markets is necessary

 

Domicile: 

Raleigh- Durham, but will cover all of the North Carolina territory, and potentially Southern Carolina Virgina
