Sales (Fund Administrator) recruitment

The Business Development Manager will lead and oversee the development and growth of the client’s profitable new business and maintenance of effective key relationships with Private Equity fund clients. This position will ensure business growth through managing and executing business development activities to improve profitability by generating new prospects and sustaining existing clients.   

This individual will open up the PE fund market to build their market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing new business relationships. 

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Working with and reporting to the President, will develop, review, and report on the business development division’s strategy, execution and results.

Identify new business opportunities by collecting and comparing pertinent data on the target market and meet the key players of the PE funds industry.

Drive the business development process by responding to incoming requests with a sense of urgency and comprehensive strategy to negotiate and close the client.

Develop and agree upon budget to include joining related associations, conferences and symposiums to extend the reach of their current audience.

Meet or exceed business development financial and activity objectives as outlined in annual goals.

50% Domestic Travel

50% in office in Northern NJ

Requirments:

3-5 years proven sales experience in fund administration, accounting services, fund of funds sales, etc.
