SUMMARY
Approach customers and potential customers, demonstrate Conestoga Bank’s PTM and mobile solutions and direct the prospect to open an account. Host and assist customers in new branch model.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Develop new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods, to optimize quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction.
2. Use prospect contact sales training activities
3. Plan/carry out/support local marketing activities to agreed timescales, and integrate personal sales efforts with other organized marketing activities, e.g., product launches, promotions, advertising, exhibitions.
4. Respond to and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methods.
5. Communicate, liaise, and negotiate using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships.
6. Attend and present at external events and other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development.
7. Attend training to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills.
8. Adhere to health and safety policy, and other requirements relating to care of equipment.
9. Greet customers prospects according to the banks’ Standards of Excellence
10. Identify financial opportunities with every contact by evaluating the customer’s financial needs and making appropriate referrals to the new accounts person
11. Explain and promote the bank’s products and services
12. Balance ATM PTM machines.

Computer skills: Must be adept in use of MS Office 2000 or later, Internet, email and newer tablet technologies.
Business and Selling Skills: Must be an excellent face-to-face communicator. Able to demonstrate success achieving genuine sales development.
Management Ability: Though internal staff management is not initially part of the job, responsibility and opportunity could grow with the development of the business, for example the prospect of recruiting and managing others. Some people-management skills, experience and natural ability will be useful.
Education/Experience: Some college course work and one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
