The sales cycle brings us into contact with a wide variety of financial services from a diverse array of backgrounds, including: trading, sales, risk, legal, operations, compliance, technology, and program management.
Consequently the successful applicant will not only have a broad background in derivatives and will be comfortable engaging with a wide variety of subject matter, but will also be a quick-study and able to pick up new concepts rapidly.
A track record of proven sales success is a must.
The successful candidate will exhibit:
- ? Enthusiasm for the derivatives sector
- ? Flexibility and adaptability: travel, working outside of office hours and client entertaining are all part of the job
- ? Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- ? Ability to translate complicated technical information into an easily understood format
- ? A confident and persuasive communication style
- ? Excellent presentation skills
- ? A high degree of self-motivation
- ? Incisive and rapid objection handling and problem solving
