Sales Manager / Business Development Manager Job in Oxfordshire, Home Counties Uk

Sales Manager / Business Development Manager required to join a national care home group. This 6 month contract is to increase occupancy of a care home. Sales experience and knowledge of Care homes / nursing homes is essential

A home manager or staff nurse with sales experience would be ideal, as would an equipment sales person having sold into care homes.

The role:
As Sales^Manager / Business Development Manager, you will work closely with the management teams to coach and develop their skills, monitor competitors products and services in order to develop and run successful campaigns, such as open days and support groups. Through supporting the delivery of the Sales and Marketing plans across the business, you will help identify opportunities in order to drive revenue into the business.

With previous sales experience and a proven track record in consultative sales you will achieve targets for the businesses and work within budgetary restrictions. With direct experience of working in the care home industry, you will have a flexible approach to work to ensure the needs of the business are met.

Travelto sites and schemes as well as occasional weekend and evening visits are a requirement of this role.

Requirements:
Previous sales experience to: local authorities, social services, care homes / nursing homes
Business Development Manager / SalesManager / BDM
Qualified to HND level or with knowledge and ability at an equivalent level in a marketing related subject would be ideal for this position.
Delivering relevant training is required so strong communication skills are essential, asis^an intermediate knowledge of Word and Excel (or similar).

Package:
Salary circa �25K pro rata
25 days annual leave and a contributory pension scheme
