Sales Manager Mortgage Innovation
The Team
Mortgage Innovation Managers have the independence to run their own business within the infrastructure of a major corporate, while being rewarded with commissions to uncapped levels.
Innovators also have the opportunity to open a Commonwealth Bank soft branded Mortgage Innovation shopfront, and work closely with their local branch network to maximise referral income.
The Innovation model is based on the acquisition and retention of experienced mortgage lenders and provides a natural career path for top performers in the mortgage industry.
The Opportunity
You will provide strong relationship and sales support management to a client base of exclusive CBA external contractors (Mortgage Innovation Principles) in the promotion of CBA branded home investment loans and CBA banking products. This includes responsibilities for developing each business and achieving business unit targets.
The role requires the Management business development of an external workforce that is designed to deliver exceptional customer service, through the provision of Commonwealth bank Home loans, in addition to ancillary Banking products.
What will success look like?
- You will provide assistance in the development of the Mortgage Innovation programme
- Strong relationship sales support management and coaching
- Promotion and selling of CBA Banking products to achieve Business Unit sales and growth targets
- Activity management implementation sales tracking to measure results
- Implement a regular client-call and visitation program
- Proactive development coaching of Innovators to grow their business
- Recruitment motivation of Innovators
- Develop and maintain sound internal relationships with other Business Units within CBA and Third Party
- Support of banking and related promotional public relations events
What will help you succeed?
- The ability to not only contribute to and coach Home Loan sales, but also be able to advise on general business management matters.
- Demonstrated experience in a sales driven environment
- Demonstrated ability to develop lead high performing sales teams
- Industry knowledge of local and national housing mortgage markets
- Extensive knowledge of banking and financial services (predominantly home loans and processes)
- Ability to network and develop strong relationships
- Commercial Acumen
- Strong Customer Service background
- Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
