Sales Manager – Payments recruitment
Based in Hong Kong our client is looking to add senior level experience to its dynamic and growing sales team. Hong Kong is a key geography of growth for the business and as such you will have an outstanding opportunity to make a real impact on driving revenue growth, both in terms of client acquisition and the roll out of new products, particularly on the e-Commerce side.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare and conduct formal sales presentations on the back of detailed analysis of customer’s payment processing needs
- Identify cross-selling opportunities in addition to opportunities for new products in the region
- Advise prospects of new technology and product offerings through the identification of operational efficiencies
- Coordinate and ensure effective merchant implementation and training as necessary
- Maintain accurate lead reporting in addition to monitoring competitors’ sales strategies
- Work closely with the Country Manager and District Sales Manager to mentor and coach the local sales team. This is a great opportunity to really contribute to the professional development of a young and ambitious sales team.
What we are looking for:
- Track record (ideally 5-7 years) of consultative sales experience, ideally selling financial products in a B2B environment
- Outstanding relationship and network building skills
- Excellent presentation skills, both written and verbal
- It is ESSENTIAL that you are fluent in Cantonese
- Track record of prospecting new clients including cold calling for lead generation
- Excellent leadership potential, ideally with some experience managing a sales team
- Strong negotiation skills
- Knowledge of and a strong interest in the e-Commerce space would be highly beneficial
