Sales Manager – PCM Queensland recruitment
HSBC is recognized as the leading international bank and one of the top tier domestic providers of Payments and Cash Management (PCM) services in Australia. We are looking for a proven Sales Manager to significantly build on our leading position in this space, covering the key large corporates in the Commercial Banking (CMB) sector in Queensland.
Reporting to the Head of Commercial Banking Sales nationally, you will be responsible for developing active marketing and client calling programs to win new business and achieve revenue targets. You will also work cohesively with other PCM areas (locally, regionally and globally) and Relationship Management teams to help ensure that PCM is a major contributor to Group economic profit.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- New business development.
- Understanding customer requirements and developing appropriate cash management solutions that suit their needs.
- Sales pipeline/deal management processes.
- Working with product teams to ensure optimal solution, pricing, positioning and value to customer.
- Conducting effective handovers from Sales to Implementation on successful deals.
- Continuous selling management for designated clients.
Skills
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline.
- A strong banking background with at least two years proven experience in banking sales.
- Familiarity with Payments and Cash Management.
- A strong commitment to the sales process and a desire to work closely with clients.
- Sound written and verbal communication skills.
- A strong drive to win and meet or exceed sales targets.
