Sales Manager recruitment
A major part of your role will be to mentor other team members, lead many of the important client negotiations and develop a robust pipeline of new business.
Responsibilities include:
- Build long-term profitable and effective relationships with TIM Group’s largest existing sell and buy-side clients, while driving sustainable growth
- Move up the tree to ensure senior management fully appreciate the benefits of the service
- Encourage engagement and successful usage of TIM
- Regularly visit users and managers in Europe
- Source new leads from major accounts, and work with other team members to ensure the leads are converted
- Manage the European pipeline for new business
- Define and lead best practice in Sales from leading ‘warm-calling’ sessions to implementing “SPIN” selling in long, complicated sales
- Develop models and methods for assessing changes to contract/service charges
- Drive revenue derived from additional services and increased value from existing services
Additionally you will help significantly expand the TIM user base in Europe by undertaking the following activities:
- Work with clients to introduce new buy-sides or sell-sides to the service
- Liaise with the London-based client management team and our regional offices to ensure new clients are followed up, and that requests for ideas are given priority by the major accounts
- Ensure major clients understand the benefits of introducing new clients or brokers to TIM Group
Essential attributes include:
- Successful and significant experience in commission driven sales, sales management and account management in wholesale finance
- Familiar with market data, portfolio management or similar systems
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Desirable attributes include:
- Familiarity with the interactions between equity brokers and their clients
- Knowledge of equities markets in general
