Sales & Marketing Manager

A unique opportunity has arisen to join this European lobbying membership body. This is a newly created role and will be responsible for driving marketing engagement strategies, sales and business development to deliver increased revenues across the annual programme of events and member engagement initiatives.

Working across Europe you will support the events teams in setting sponsorship and delegate sales targets for the annual programme of events and providing a clear strategic vision inline with the business plan. You will additionally be overseeing the corporate sponsorship strategy including selling opportunities to existing clients and managing the ongoing relationships. You will be responsible for; developing a market research programme, create the marketing strategy, run sales and marketing campaigns, identify, prioritise and pitch to potential sponsors.

The successful candidate will be commercially focused and have a proven track record operating in a strategic marketing environment with experience working to commercial sales targets and developing business. With a business to business background you will most likely have worked within a professional membership body, professional or financial service. Experience of developing sales and marketing infrastructure (e.g. CRM Systems, websites, SAP, ERP systems) would be highly advantageous but not essential.
